What we collect

Ballin on a Budget (this site) collects only what we need to help you find local deals and to understand how people use the site.

• If you create an account, we store your name, email, and profile photo from your sign-in provider (Google).
• If you submit a business or a deal, we store what you submit so admins can review and publish it.
• If you grant location permission OR type a city, we use that location to filter deals near you. We do not store the location on our servers — it stays in your browser during your session.
• We use Google Analytics to count visits, page views, and interactions (e.g., when someone grants location, opens a deal, or submits a business). This helps us understand what features people use.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't show third-party ads.
• We don't share your account info with other users.
• We don't track you across other sites.

Cookies

We use cookies for two reasons: (1) to keep you signed in if you have an account, and (2) Google Analytics uses cookies to count unique visitors. You can clear these in your browser at any time.

Your choices

• You can browse the site without an account. We don't require sign-in to view deals.
• You can deny location permission. We'll still show you deals, just not narrowed to your area unless you type in a city.
• You can delete your account by contacting us via the Contact page.
